Reza Masoudi Nejad ist jetzt am SOAS, University of London, tätig.

Reza Masoudi-Nejad ist Architekt und Stadtmorphologe und hat im Jahr 1996 einen Master of Science für Architektur an der Universität Teheran erworben. Anschließend schloss er sein Studium als MSc of Advanced Architectural Studies, fokussiert auf die Space-Syntax-Theorie, an der Bartlett School of Built Environment, UCL, University of London im Jahr 2003 ab. Reza Masoudi Nejad legte seine Promotion an der DPU, Bartlett, ab. Seine Arbeit mit dem Titel "The Rite of Urban Passage" zielt auf das Verständnis der räumlichen Dynamik religiöser Rituale in iranischen Städten. Er konzentriert sich hauptsächlich auf die Interaktion zwischen städtischer Gesellschaft und Räumen, auf die urbane Transformation während der Modernisierung des Iran und die räumliche Organisation von Ritualen in urbanen Räumen.
