Religious Diversity and Ecological Sustainability in China

Workshop and Book Project

The joint book workshop “Religious Diversity and Ecological Sustainability in China” by Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity, Minzu University of China, and Yale Forum on Religion and Ecology, was successfully held in Beijing, March 6-9, 2012. Scholars from Germany, Denmark, Canada, the United States, and China presented their works. The conference volume will be published in both Chinese and English. The tentative date of publication for the Chinese volume is set in fall 2012. The publisher will be either Minzu Press or the Chinese Social Sciences Press based in Beijing, China. The English volume will start its editing stage in summer 2012.
