Semiotic insurgencies: ‘diversity’ in popular culture practices. Three members of our International Working Group on Sociolinguistic Diversity -- Cecile B. Vigouroux (Simon Fraser University), Piia Varis (Tilburg University) and Karel Arnaut (Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity) -- propose a panel for the American Anthropological Association, Chicago, 20-24 November 2013.
