Curriculum Vitae
Alma Below is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Inequality, Transformation and Conflict. She studied Social Sciences at Humboldt University of Berlin (B.A. and M.A.) and worked as a student assistant at various chairs, including as a tutor in statistics. She also spent one semester each at the University of Salamanca and the University of Vienna. Her work focuses on social inequality, political participation and attitudes, with an emphasis on East Germany and right-wing extremism.
In her master's thesis, she examined the political implications of social anomie – the collective perception of a loss of social order.
