Jane Jäger

Jane Jäger (she/her) is a research assistant in the department “Inequality, Transformation and Conflict”. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology at the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena and the Université Lumière Lyon 2. In collaboration with Prof. Dr. Dörre and Dr. Steffen Liebig, she worked on a research project on socio-ecological transformation conflicts and subsequently published the results in “Fahren wir zusammen?” (Liebig/Lucht 2022). After contributing, as part of an internship at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center, to the project “Organised civil society and right-wing interventions” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Swen Hutter, she has been studying for a Master’s degree in Sociology, combined with Diversity Studies, at the Georg-August University of Göttingen since October 2024. Her main research interests lie in the field of sociology of work, the study of social inequalities, as well as approaches in women’s and gender studies, with a particular focus on intersectional/interdependent approaches and discourse-analytical methods.
