Julius Yam

Curriculum Vitae

Julius Yam is a DPhil in Law candidate at the Faculty of Law, University of  Oxford. He holds an LL.B. from the University of Hong Kong and an LL.M. from the University of Chicago. He is also a Research Associate at the Programme for the Foundations of Law and Constitutional Government. Julius' main research interests are in comparative constitutional study, judicial politics and constitutional theory. His thesis explores the interaction between courts and politics in non-democratic regimes, with a particular focus on Southeast Asian hybrid regimes.
