Tinashe Chimbidzikai

Tinashe Chimbidzikai was a Doctoral Research Fellow and a guest at SCD in 2023. He registered as a joint Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at Gottingen University and the African Studies Centre, Leiden. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Sociology and Social Anthropology at the University of Zimbabwe before joining the public service and the NGO sector. Prior to joining the MPI-MMG, Tinashe worked on several public health projects in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa, while doing part-time lectureship in gender and feminist studies, sociology, and social anthropology courses.
