Dr. Pablo Seward Delaporte

Pablo Seward Delaporte was a guest at the institute from June 2023 until August 2024. He received his Ph.D. in Anthropology from Stanford University in 2023. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brown University’s Population Studies and Training Center and will begin a tenure-track appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Saint Louis University in 2024. Pablo's research examines urban space, social and environmental vulnerability, and the politics of race and gender around transnational Black and Indigenous migration in Latin America.
