Dörte U. Engelkes is now working at Audin Film.
Dörte U. Engelkes was a research fellow in the Department of Socio-Cultural Diversity. As a visual anthropologist and film-maker, she was responsible for the visualization of the project 'GlobaldiverCities - Migration and New Diversities in Global Cities' headed by Prof. Dr. Steven Vertovec. Dörte U. Engelkes holds an MA in cultural anthropology and communication studies. Since completing training as a camerawoman in 1997 she has worked as a freelancer, producing features and documentaries for television and the internet. As a lecturer she teaches visual communication, media practice and camera at different universities.
