Prof. Dr. Riccardo Pozzo
Curriculum Vitae
Riccardo Pozzo was a guest of the institute in August. Riccardo Pozzo received his M.A. at Università di Milano in 1983, his PhD at Universität des Saarlandes in 1988, and his Habilitation at Universität Trier in 1995. In 1996 he came to the U.S. to teach German Philosophy at the School of Philosophy of the Catholic University of America. In 2003 he went back to Europe to take up the position of Professor of the History of Philosophy at the Università di Verona, and in 2009 he became the Director of the Istituto per il Lessico intellettuale Europeo e Storia delle Idee- CNR in Rome. He is currently Ambassador of the Alexander von Humboldt-Foundation for Italy and Chair of the Committee on the Teaching Philosophy of the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés de Philosophie.
