Dr. Emilija Simoska

Emilija Simoska works at the Institute for Sociological, Political and Legal Research, at the University Sts. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, Macedonia. Her field of research are the interethnic relations as a part of the political culture of the society. Her PhD acquired in 1991 is in the field of Political Sociology and regards the problem of political socialization.

From 1994 until 1996 she was elected for a Minister of Education in the Macedonian Government. She is Head of the Center for Ethnic and Security Issues at her Institute and Head of the Department for Communications on the postgraduate and doctoral studies at the university. She is a full professor of Political Culture and Communications.
