Barbara Obele earned her M.A. in Sociology and Political Science from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Her research topic focuses on "The Construction of Transnational Identities among Immigrants of the Second Generation. The Case Study of Palestinians in Germany and the UK". Barbara Obele received a Bucerius Ph.D. Scholarship of the ZEIT-foundation in Migration Studies "Settling Into Motion" for the duration of 3 years.
