Scientific Advisory Board 2010-2022

The members of the Advisory Board, each appointed for a term of six years, are appointed by the President of the Max Planck Society. The task of the Advisory Board is to advise the directors and staff of the Institute by carrying out regular evaluations and critically assessing the work of the Institute in order to ensure high international quality. In addition, the Advisory Board advises the Institute and the President of the Max Planck Society on innovative developments in the Institute's research activities and on the use of its resources.
