Farhan Samanani on “Tools for Bridging Differences”

Farhan Samanani completed his Ph.D. in Social Anthropology at the University of Cambridge in 2017, having been a Gates Cambridge Scholar. There, his Ph.D. focused on how residents of the superdiverse London neighbourhood of Kilburn understood and attempted to shape forms of community. After his doctorate he worked as a Post-doctoral Research Associate in Urban Studies at the University of Oxford on a project examining the impacts of austerity on first-time parents. From 2018 to 2022, he worked as a research associate at MPI-MMG.
