Sex, soul, spirits: Becoming Protestant Hmong in contemporary Vietnam (completed)
This project is based on my dissertation. It deals with the conversion to Protestantism of the Hmong in Vietnam. It studies the transnational networks of the Hmong (especially the connections with Hmong in the USA) and the relation between conversion, authenticity and the politics of belonging. This will result in a book and several articles.
