Prof. Dr. Olena Kyselova

Olena Kyselova is a Research Fellow at the Institute. She is a member of the department of socio-cultural diversity. Olena is an associate Professor of Administrative, Commercial Law, and Financial economic security at the Academic and Research Institute of Law Sumy State University. Her research interests entail protection of human rights in labor; differentiation of legal regulation of labor; responsibility in labor law; international standards in regulating social and labor relations. The theme of the candidate's dissertation is "Legal regulation of the decision of individual labor disputes" - labor law; social security law, 2012. In 2017 she defended her doctoral thesis "Correlation of international, state and contractual regulation of labor relations " at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She has written a lot of articles on the protection of labor rights and the problems of legal regulation of labor relations and made proposals for the necessary changes to national legislation, considering European standards. She is also interested in studying the issues of gender equality and the normative consolidation of guarantees of equality in the legislation of Ukraine. As a participant, had taken part in the International Women’s Studies Symposium from 12-13 May 2022 in Manisa/Turkey. She is a member of the Ukrainian Association of Labor Law Specialists.
