Curriculum Vitae

Stefan is now project manager at KfW Development Bank.

Stefan Lindemann was a Research Fellow at the Department of Socio-Cultural Diversity where he worked on a project on the ‘Conditions of conviviality and conflict’. He was also an associate lecturer at the Department of Political Science of the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. He holds a PhD in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a German-French Double Master in Political Science from the Freie Universität Berlin and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (IEP). Stefan’s main research interests include ethnic conflict, civil war, and civil-military relations. His work has been published in journals such as African Affairs, Commonwealth & Comparative Politics, Third World Quarterly, Global Environmental Politics, and Environmental Politics, among others.
