José Manuel Sanchez Patrón is Ph.D. in Law and he has been Ph.D. research in Compared European Law at the Université de Paris XI, Université Catholique de Paris, and Universidad Complutense de Madrid, as well as in International Law in the Universidad de Valencia (Spain). He has realized research works at the Universidad de Oviedo, Université Libre de Bruxelles, the University of Cambridge and University of Göttingen; European Institute at Florence, Centre d'Etudes et Recherches Internacionales of Paris (CERI), Peace Palace Library, Max Planck Institut for Comparative Public Law and International Law and Institut Suisse de Droit Comparé. Also, he has realized research tasks at the United Nations, Council of Europe, European Union, OSCE, NATO and the Juridical Service of the International Committee of the Red Cross at Geneva. Currently, he is Professor of International law and International relations at the Department of International Law "Adolfo Miaja of the Muela" of the Universidad de Valencia (Spain). In 2014, he was elected Chairperson of the Coordinating Committee of the Interest Group on International Biolaw of the European Society of International Law. Since 2016, he is the Manager of the Master on International Studies and European Unión of the University of Valencia.
