- Chang Hyun Lee is Professor in the School of Communication at Kookmin University in Seoul South Korea. He holds a Ph.D. in Media Studies from Seoul National University. From 2012-2014, he served as the Director of The Seoul Institute, the research think-tank for the city of Seoul. Prof. Chang Hyun Lee presented on Asian megacities comparing Beijing, Tokyo and Seoul. In comparing the cities, he examined how Ulrich Beck’s theory of risk society is differently perceived in the Asian context such as rapid development.
