Curriculum Vitae

Benjamin Boudou was Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Ethics, Law, and Politics. His work deals with the ethics and politics of migration, representation, the theory of democracy, and sanctuary cities. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science at Sciences Po (Paris), and worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Center for International Studies and at KU Leuven. He has been teaching political theory at Sciences Po and University Paris 8. He is the author of two books, “Politique de l’Hospitalité” [Politics of Hospitality] (CNRS Editions, 2017) and “Le Dilemme des Frontiers” [The Border Dilemma] (EHESS Editions, 2018), and published “Hospitality in Sanctuary Cities” in the Routledge Handbook of the Philosophy of the City. He is also the editor-in-chief of Raisons Politiques, a peer-reviewed journal of political theory published in French and English.
