Bianca Ponziani holds a Joint Honours
Environment and Political Science degree from McGill University. She is a
current JD/MBA candidate at the University of Toronto.
Bianca feels privileged to help advance the understanding of law and citizenship at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious & Ethnic Diversity, under the guidance of Professors Ayelet Shachar and Ran Hirschl. To this endeavour, she will bring her experience working in the Immigration Section of Canada’s missions in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom, and as a border services officer with Canada Border Services Agency. Bianca is especially interested in refugee policy and managed Canada’s refugee policy portfolio as a delegate to the 2016 Youth Summit of the G7 in Tokyo, Japan.
