Dr. Magda Ulceluse, University of Groningen

Magda Ulceluse is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Groningen, where she researches the link between migration and inequality within Europe, and manage the Migration and Inequality dimension of the IMAJINE H2020 project. She has held visiting research fellowships at the International Migration Institute in Oxford, and the Central European Labour Studies Institute in Bratislava. Magda worked on projects for several governments and international organisations, including the European Commission, the International Labor Organization and ESPON. Her main research interest lies in the inter dependencies between e/im-migration and socio-spatial inequalities, with a strong emphasis on the effect of migration on sending areas. Other research interests include labour migration and migrant economic activities, and the economics of humanitarian (refugee) migration.
