The writing fellowships are intended for scholars who have already completed field research on topics relating to ageing and migration and who are writing-up their research results for publication (a doctoral dissertation, monograph and/or peer-reviewed journal articles or book chapters). Projects that share the research group’s interests in regions of the Global South are particularly desirable, but not required. Applicants should be working in the fields of Anthropology, Sociology, Geography, History or related field in the social sciences and humanities and with qualitative research methods such as ethnography, in-depth interviews and/or oral histories.
