Dr. Yael Peled

Yael Peled ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in der Abteilung für sozio-kulturelle Vielfalt am Max-Planck-Institut zur Erforschung multireligiöser und multiethnischer Gesellschaften (MPI-MMG) und außerordentliche Professorin II am Fachbereich für Recht, Philosophie und internationale Studien an der Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences. Zu ihren Hauptforschungsinteressen gehören die zeitgenössische moralische, soziale und politische Philosophie der Sprache, die Politik mehrsprachiger und multikultureller Gesellschaften in der Demokratietheorie, Interdisziplinarität in den Sozial- und Geisteswissenschaften sowie Komplexitätstheorie und Ethik in der öffentlichen Politikforschung. Sie hat einen Doktortitel in Politik und internationalen Beziehungen (politische Theorie) vom Nuffield College, Oxford, und einen BA in Politikwissenschaft und allgemeiner Linguistik (Summa cum Laude) von der Hebräischen Universität in Jerusalem.

Sie verfolgt ein grundsätzlich interdisziplinäres Forschungsprogramm und hatte mehrere Stipendien und andere Stellen in den Bereichen Politikwissenschaft und Sozialpolitik (Hebräische Universität; Van Leer Jerusalem Institute; McGill University; Faber Arts, Sciences and Humanities Residency of Catalonia in Olot), soziale und politische Ethik (Université de Montréal; McGill University; KU Leuven; UCLouvain), Bildung (King's College London), Medizin (McGill University), Wissenschaftstheorie (Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften/Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main) und jüdische Philosophie (Universität Hamburg).
