Julia Martínez-Ariño is Assistant Professor of Sociology of Religion at the University of Groningen (the Netherlands) and Director of the Centre for Religion, Conflict and Globalization. She was a postdoctoral fellow at the MPI in 2013 and in 2014-2017. Her research focuses on public policies on religious diversity, secularism, Jewish heritage practices and religious disaffiliation and nonreligion.
